We have spent 12 years perfecting our craft and have been named in the UK’s top 50 wedding cake designers for 4 years running.
We are currently booking 18-24 months in advance for wedding cakes.

Consultations & Booking
If you are set on your cake designer for your big day its never too soon to secure the date! It's imperative to give as much notice as possible especially in summer months, we book around 18months to 2 years in advance.
Once your date is booked the best time to design your wedding cake is around 3-4 months before your big day.
We design bespoke, taking elements of your wedding such as colours, stationary and flowers to coordinate these into the design. We find 4 months the ideal time as by then you will have the little details planned that we can then bring together.
Our consultations are held at our new premises in Queenslie, Glasgow. Should this be unsuitable we can also design via email or zoom. At this consultation we will sit with you and design your cake from scratch. You may have some ideas you like so it’s best to bring along anything you would like to incorporate or gather some photos for references.
To ensure the design is just perfect we will create a mock design using digital sketching, this will bring your ideas to life and help you visualise your cake ready for the real thing.
We have our unique signature style of clean lines, sharp edges and lots of realistic sugar flowers!
Please note we do not create buttercream, semi/naked cakes or Novelty style (such as themed or character) wedding cakes.

Choosing Your Flavours
As well as the outside being perfect, we pride ourselves on the inside too!
When it comes to choosing your flavours (the best part of wedding planning!) we don’t do the traditional sit in and eat cake at your consultation, instead we prefer to create a box that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home to enjoy in your own time.
We offer sample boxes throughout the year on dedicated dates. For choosing your flavours we offer 1 complimentary standard sized box which contains 8 cake samples. You can choose which flavours you would like from our list, swapping out any you don’t like or trying 1 of each.

If you have already booked your wedding cake with us - Enter the code ‘ Prebooked ‘ into the discount box at check out. - Postage is charged at cost or collection is available from our shop. Please note the box is charged at full price if you wish to try our cakes first, if you wish to then book you can enjoy another box as complimentary!
We aim to create our sample boxes every 2-3 months (with the exception of peak wedding season). Please keep an eye on our social media and website for the next date.

Payments
To secure your booking we require a non refundable booking fee of £100. We have a cooling off period of 7 days should circumstances require you to cancel your booking, after which our t&c’s will be in place.
We have a minimum order of £450. Our delivery fee is 75p per mile round trip from G33 4EN.
The Final balance is due a minimum of 1 month before your date. The final balance will be given upon design agreement at your consultation 4 months before your wedding date.

Delivery and Set up
On your big day we will deliver and set up in the morning. We will call your venue a few days before to arrange suitable timings with them
. We pride ourselves in our cakes and do ask that if your cake is not to be set up on a standard table/ cake stand to inform us first. We cannot take responsibility for someone else moving our cakes onto the likes of swings or pedestals without our acknowledgement.
A cake box will be provided for any remaining cake to be taken home. We will also provide your venue with an information sheet detailing flavours, allergies and any removable items such as flowers or non edible materials.
Should you wish to keep any specific element please let us know to include this in the information provided to the venue.

Cancellation Terms and Conditions
We understand your circumstances may change. All booking fee monies are non refundable and transferable. This fee covers all communication either via calls, social media messaging, emails or face to face consultations. Cancellations made within 1 month of the booked date will result in all monies being retained. Cancellations must be given in writing by clients only.
Should the final balance remain unpaid by the agreed time we reserve the right to cancel your order due to time constraints and all monies paid will be retained.

GDPR Policy
​
In compliance with the new data protection policy Cakes-n-Crafts Ltd only hold very minimum personal information provided by each client such as full name and email address which is used for the basis of communication. By using our "contact us" section you are agreeing to us having this information. This information is stored for the duration of your order. No payment information is ever kept. By regulation of HMRC all orders must be kept on file for 7 years meaning that names and email addresses may be present in our diary and order forms.
