Delivery and set up will be on the day of your wedding. We will contact your venue 1 day before delivery to ensure of access times and pre-arrange a suitable time in which they can expect our arrival. We do not recommend that the cake should be moved once set up and we will not be liable should the venue choose to move the cake and any damage occur.

We will pre-arrange timings with the buyer on their ceremony timings. If the ceremony and reception are held within the same area, we may pre-arrange to deliver and set up after the ceremony.

We cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products we have delivered once we have delivered and set up the cake at your venue.

We take Photographic evidence of the cake from every angle to ensure pristine condition of how it has been set up and left by ourselves.

In such occasions as an outdoor or summer wedding we recommend all cakes to be set up in a cool room and not in a fridge or cooler. Cakes are perishable and are not stable in a hot and humid environment and are affected by temperature change.

Flavour cards containing allergies are given to the venue to place on the table when serving so that guests and the venue are aware of ingredients.

A cake box is also left should you wish to take any additional cake home. We recommend this is consumed within 3-5 days.

Non-edible ingredients and decorations

Our products may contain non-edible ingredients or decorations, such as plastic cake dowels in tiered cakes or wires in sugar flowers. These will be explained during the consultation appointment. We will also ensure the venue has a delivery note containing any details on what is required to be removed before serving. We cannot be liable should the venue fail to remove these items and will be up to the buyer to ensure that this is not served to guests.

Allergies and Dietary requirements

As we do not have separate equipment, or an area designated, we are unable to offer allergy free or special dietary free cakes. All our cakes contain Gluten, Eggs, dairy and soya.

Whilst we do not use nuts directly in our cakes they are created in an environment where nuts are stored through marzipan or Nutella, therefore we are unable to guarantee a completely nut free product and traces may be found.

Our shop has been inspected by Glasgow City Council and holds a pass certificate as part of their food hygiene Scotland scheme. We also hold certificates in food hygiene and allergies.
